What we have also seen over the past month is a generally slowing jobs market in the broader economy but still strong jobs growth (and Seek ad volumes) in the mining sector coupled with a number of key mining companies and contractors taking action to secure candidates in operationally important job categories such as mining engineering, maintenance supervision and planning, production leadership and trades.
